Join Roof Top Sedums for this program on vegetated roof designs.  Cities are hotter than ever, and to cool down our human habitat designers must design more green space, including on the roof. Finding enough real estate to manage stormwater can also present a set of challenges. During this presentation, we will learn how a vegetated roof could mitigate urban heat island effect, soak up rain, and provide multiple unrealized benefits to building occupants. A lot has changed in the last 16 years, so let’s explore how your next roof could be your “coolest” blue green roof ever.

This program is worth 1 HSW.  Lunch will be provided for this who attend in person.  For those who attend on Zoom, you must attend the full session in order to get AIA credit.  If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
